How to enable Workspot Client Diagnostic Mode

Enabling Workspot Client Diagnostic Mode

This tech note describes how to enable Diagnostic mode for Workspot Client on each of the supported platforms. When enabled, logs will be sent to Workspot Support servers for further troubleshooting. Diagnostic mode should be disabled when the issue is resolved.

(*) Please note the date and time when Diagnostic mode is enabled. This helps support troubleshoot the issue.

The following figures illustrate configuration of Diagnostic mode.

Windows Workspot Client

  1. Launch the Workspot client and enter your passcode
  2. Click on upper left menu widget -> System -> Diagnostic mode

  3. Click on Enable Diagnostics

  4. Close and Relaunch the Workspot client and repeat the steps to reproduce the issue.

Mac OSX Workspot Client

  1. Launch the Workspot client and enter your passcode

  2. Click on Workspot on OSX menu bar -> Preferences -> Enable Diagnostics
  3. Click on the button, Enable Diagnostics

  4. Close and Relaunch the Workspot client and repeat the steps to reproduce the issue.

iOS Workspot Client

  1. Within iOS > Select Settings

  2. Scroll down to Workspot app > Enable Diagnostic Mode toggle widget

  3. Launch Workspot client to verify diagnostics enabled.

Android Workspot Client

  1. Launch the Workspot client and enter your passcode.
  2. Click on upper right menu widget and Select Diagnostic Mode
